Choppy Pow

Ohh, back in Utah. The old stomping grounds. It always feels good to come back to this part of the World.
Like every year my wife, Kristin, and I go down to SLC for the Outdoor Retailer show. We always add on some days to be able to ride the best snow on earth. This year it was a little scary because all of the western US had the worst start to the winter season that I have ever seen. Thanks to mother nature as we attend the OR show it started dumping, by Tuesday we had at least 16" of new snow at Solitude. The bad news was that the day before my wife and I went to Park City Mountain Resort and my wife took a hard slam and bruised her ribs bad. So she could join John and I on our assault on Solidute. Thanks John for giving me the best day, so far, this season!

Super Pow up top and getting heavier the lower you go. There were only a couple small bottom section where the snow was pretty solid. But all worth it!

Amazing Place! If you have the money and the time don't think about it and just DO IT!

Wind swept up high with nice powder below.

Good thing we decided to go! We partied a little to much the night before and Robert was still had a jet leg. Needless to say the motivation was low in the mourning and after hearing that the Road crew is trying out their new howitzer gun for avi control and the road possibly being closed we...

POW

I been waiting for a day like yesterday. Last weekend I went to Juneau to ride their resort and I had the worst time. Spend a lot of money traveling there for bullet proof snow. The bad vibes continued throughout the week. Yesterday changed all that. I didn't expect much since I was burned...

20" of fresh POW

Had a late start and weather wasn't the best. 25-30mph winds with 50mph gusts but the snow was good. The night before we got 20" on top so there was no backing out. Driving through 2' wind drifts and parts of the Pass with 0 visibility we made it to a small zone that is an easy access from the...

Hip deep blower pow!

We had a late start in the mourning. We are just a little rusty getting all the gear together. We drove up the Highway and assest the situation. Snow cover looked good so we stopped at a zone called Fraiser Meadows. For a warm up we had to dig out our parking spot.

Epic

This is long over due. That is why I am packing three Ride Reports into one. Powder Mountain was awesome as usual. Unfortunately the roof came down on us and you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. The mourning was great and I would have had more footage if I would have checked my...
